01. The Setup & Blinds
In Texas Hold'em, the action is driven by forced bets called Blinds. The "Small Blind" sits to the left of the dealer button, and the "Big Blind" sits to their left. These mandatory stakes ensure there is always something to play for in every pot before any cards are even dealt.
Timer Optimization:
Don't guess your blind structures. Use the Generate Levels Wizard (via the Auto Levels menu) to instantly build a balanced growth curve. Toggle between Slow or Fast tracks, and let the app handle the math of linear growth and Big Blind ratios automatically. You can also easily toggle between Standard or Big Blind Ante depending on your tournament structure.
02. How a Hand is Played
The main objective of Texas Hold'em is to construct the best possible five-card poker hand using any combination of your two private hole cards and the five shared community cards. Alternatively, you can win the pot immediately by betting aggressively enough to force all other players to fold.
Your Actions on Every Turn:
The Four Betting Rounds
1. Pre-Flop
Each player receives two private hole cards face down. Betting action begins with the player sitting to the immediate left of the Big Blind (known as "Under the Gun").
2. The Flop
The dealer places three community cards face-up in the middle of the table. From this point forward, the betting round always starts with the first remaining player sitting to the left of the dealer button.
3. The Turn
A fourth community card is dealt face-up next to the flop. A third round of betting takes place among the remaining active players.
4. The River & Showdown
The fifth and final community card is revealed, followed by the last round of betting. If two or more players remain active after the action concludes, a Showdown occurs: players flip over their cards, and the strongest five-card combination wins the entire pot. If there's an exact tie, the chips are split equally.
03. Chip Management & Prize Distribution
A common home game hurdle is color confusion—players frequently forget chip denominations, slowing down the game. Additionally, calculating the exact starting stacks and a fair tournament payout can lead to math arguments at the table.
Chips Integration:
Head to the Chips Tab to map your physical equipment. Define the amounts and personalize virtual chip colors to match your real-world set. You can instantly drag and drop to reorder denominations or choose standard structures like WSOP from our professional presets.
Prize Pool Calculations:
Use the Prize Distribution panel to automatically split the buy-in pool. Simply enter integer ratios separated by colons (e.g., 55:30:15) to set your payout ratios. Utilize the Rounding dropdown (e.g., "to 10") to keep the physical chip payouts clean and easy to pass out.
04. Blind Levels & Time Management
To keep your game professional, matches should progress within a predictable timeframe. When the clock hits zero, a new level begins, raising the blinds and increasing the tournament pressure.

05. Game Flow Automation
Managing the floor doesn't mean you have to constantly micro-manage the clock interface. Configure your automation settings ahead of time to keep things seamless:

- / Auto-Start Levels: Enable this configuration if you want the subsequent blind levels to begin immediately without requiring manual play interaction.
- / Warning Sound Alerts: The app automatically triggers audio alerts at 60s, 10s, and 0s of your level durations to elegantly announce upcoming shifts.
- / Live Syncing & Sharing: If you need to mirror the screen to a larger monitor or tablet mid-game, grab the Share Link from the app header to cast your active running timer state instantly.
06. League Rules & Long-Term Standings
